Technical Description

J360A is the low-concentration version of the J360 ambient-temperature vacuum-chrome stripper. Both share the same eco-friendly acidic system: ambient-temperature use, free of hydrofluoric acid and potassium ferricyanide. J360A targets high-volume stripping lines where chemical consumption per part matters — a lower-consumption option where stripping demands are moderate. Family split: J360 for high concentration and maximum stripping power; J360A for low concentration and controlled consumption. For vacuum-deposited chrome coatings on glass (mirror-silver finish, coating rework / stripping); other substrates should be compatibility-checked first.

Introduction

J360A Ambient-Temperature Vacuum-Chrome Stripper (Low-Concentration) (J360A) is developed by SEMPURION for Stripping of vacuum-deposited chrome coating (mirror-silver finish) from glass (rework), high-volume lines as a De-inking / Stripping product.Key advantage: Ambient-temperature stripping · eco-friendly acidic system · HF-free, no potassium ferricyanide · low-concentration grade. Benchmarked against Industry-standard approaches for stripping vacuum-deposited chrome coatings. Key features: Lower active concentration than J360, cutting chemical consumption per part for high-volume continuous production; ambient temperature, no heating; suitable for both ambient immersion and ambient spray; same eco-friendly acidic system as J360, with lower handling hazard and waste burden than conventional strong-acid routes; free of hydrofluoric acid and potassium ferricyanide. Typical process: Ambient immersion or spray (no heating), typically 2–5 min (lower concentration than J360, so time may need adjustment); water rinse → DI rinse → dry; acidic system — apply acid-safe handling and protection.
