OCA-100
OCA-100 OCA Residue Remover
Removes OCA/LOCA adhesive residue during screen disassembly and rework without damaging the polarizer.
Technical Description
OCA-100 is an OCA/LOCA residue remover from Shengpu Chemical for touch panels and display modules, positioned for screen disassembly and rework. Benchmarked against commercial repair removers such as RELIFE RL-538 and SUNSHINE SS-520+ as well as imported 3M/LINTEC-class rework chemistries, it removes crosslinked OCA by swelling-and-peeling with a primary solvent that shows low attack on the polarizer's TAC layer. Free of reproductive toxins and carcinogenic halogenated solvents, with a blend flash point above 60°C, it protects polarizers and plastic parts while delivering clean residue removal at ambient or gently heated soak conditions for display rework processes.
Introduction
OCA-100 OCA Residue Remover (OCA-100) is developed by SEMPURION for Touch panels / display modules as a De-gum / De-bond product.Key advantage: Removes OCA/LOCA adhesive residue during screen disassembly and rework without damaging the polarizer.. Benchmarked against Commercial repair-market removers (RELIFE RL-538 / SUNSHINE SS-520+ class) and imported screen rework chemistries (3M / LINTEC class). Key features: Removes crosslinked OCA residue by swelling-and-peeling rather than dissolving; primary solvent has low attack on the polarizer TAC layer; mild odor; gentler on polarizers than traditional high-solvency solvents; free of reproductive toxins and carcinogenic halogenated solvents (the latter tend to damage polarizers and plastic parts); compliant and safe; blend closed-cup flash point >60°C for safe ambient transport and storage. Typical process: Ambient immersion 10–30 min is enough to peel (5–15 min at 40°C; thin OCA 5–15 min); temperature and time selectable to line takt; polarizer soak red line: over 30 min may damage the TAC layer — control soak time; if FPC pads are contacted, wipe immediately with an alcohol-type solvent and check for discoloration.
