Technical Description
TG-100 is a fluorine-free glass thinning support chemistry from Shengpu Chemical for panel glass and wafer thinning lines. Benchmarked against Parker's fluorine-based thinning chemistry, it deliberately avoids fluorine compounds and their highly toxic gas risk, qualification and hazardous-waste burdens, with waste liquor that neutralizes easily to fit strict panel-plant compliance. Applied at 60–70°C as pre-thinning pretreatment for uniform downstream etching and post-thinning cleaning of residue and scale — rather than as the production thinning etchant itself — it requires strong-alkali PPE and complements an overall thinning process solution.
